All Star Cheer Booster Club Meeting

Board Members Present:      Sally Jenkins and Paula Rush

 

Meeting Called to Order:      6:00pm

 

Treasurer’s Report:    No Treasurer’s report due to the absence of our Treasurer.

            *Paula:  Send a message to Andrea regarding the needed statements to individuals.

 

 

Team Mom’s Meeting:  There was a Team Mom’s meeting the other night.  Thoughts and ideas were sent to Liz regarding how the first competition was handled, any concerns or suggestions on continuing to improve our program in that regard.   Liz is asking that Rush stay with mom’s or check them out to stay with parents. 

 

Spirit Director Update:  David and Jackie have been nominated.  Liz is planning on having a pre-performance before competition where she will go over any new procedures regarding cheerleader safety, group seating and spirit organization.  David and Jackie will need help in organizing seats and saving seats for competitions.

 

Fundraising:  December Food Sales:    We will have only 2 weeks for our dinner night fundraiser.  After much discussion it has been decided that we will be doing Chili Boats with Freetos Corn Chips and a drink.  Sally has bowls from our Pre-Season Pot Luck dinner.

 

Kettle Korn Sales:  The sign-up sheet has been posted for our 2nd Kettle Korn Sale.  Only those who HAVE NOT yet participated may sign up.  This coming Monday, if there are any remaining open spots, you may sign up for a 2nd time.    The girls will need to be in uniform or Aerial sweats with their hair in a ponytail and wearing their bow.

 

Car Wash Tickets:  A few people still need to turn in their money and tickets to close out this fundraiser.  Please contact Sally asap.

 

Christmas Wreath Sales:  Flyers will go into girls’ folders.  We will be selling the wreaths for $22.00.  $7.50 will go into your daughter’s account.  There are forms to fill out for this fundraiser which needs to be turned in – along with all money – on November 15th!  Make checks payable to:  ACG Boosters.  The wreaths will come the week of December 3rd.    

 

Candle Sales:  Shauna is not here tonight.  Hopefully by the 15th we will turn over the candle sale information to you. 

 

T-shirts:  We are hoping we will get out t-shirts by the next competition.

 

Open Discussion:  We will be having a gift-exchange for all cheerleaders the night of our Christmas Party – Thursday, December 20th at 5:30pm.  The maximum amount to spend is:  $10.  Please make these gifts appropriate for all ages as we will be playing a “Left/Right” game.  This party will be a pot-luck “Heavy hors d’ oeuvres and appetizers/finger-foods.”  We will have a sign-up sheet posted in the near future.

 

Coaches Gifts:   We have (3) Adult Coaches and (2) Teen Coaches.  It has been decided that we will give $50 gift cards for the adult coaches and $25 gift cards for the teen coaches.  We will notify you of each “families” portion to pay for these gifts.
