Hi All, our home meet is quickly approaching and we have a few changes that need to be made. For those of you who didn't know our meet is now going to have 4 sessions( one Saturday night and three on Sunday). This means a lot of work, but it is also a chance for us as a club to make some BIG money. I am posting a sign up sheet tomorrow on the Parents Club Board and we need everyone to sign-up to help in some way. Please remember we have over 50 gymnasts, if everyone does their part we should all be able to enjoy this event. I especially need help with the decorations, judges/coaches hospitality and concessions. These three jobs require extra work and preparation, therefore please let me know asap if you are interested in either of these three jobs. Due to previous birthday obligations we will have to set up differently for this meet. Below is an email from Tanya describing what we need to do. Please understand that haveing a four session meet is a huge compliment to our program and the gym as a whole. Although things will probably be a little hairy, if we all work together it will be an awesome event. We will be hosting over 250 gymnasts at this meet. Friday Morning Sept 1 – (time is flexible but I have to coach the 6s and optionals that night because Cari is in a wedding) Vince, Tanya and if ANYONE ELSE CAN HELP – to move bars and beam and mats to main wing

 

Sat Morning Sept 2 – Tanya and Vince - upstairs office clean up and set up

 

Friday 4-8pm / Sept 8 – The big clean up, decorating and judge table setup – also can do judge and coach areas just no lobby stuff. Pro Score Set-up by Vince.

 

Sat Sep 9 - THERE ARE 2 B-DAY PARTIES – THE LAST ONE ENDS AT 445 PM ON SAT BUT THE GYM TIME FOR THE PARTIES WILL HAVE TO BE IN TEAM WING BECAUSE THE PROCORE SYSTEM WOULD BE VULNERABLE TO ACCIDENTS – LAST 45 MIN ARE IN THE LOBBY – SO FINAL TOUCH-UP/SET UP CAN START AS EARLY THE END OF THE 1 -3 MEET. 

 

 

Sat night meet participants/judges will enter from side ramp entrance (we need people to help direct away from front door)  Session will begin at 5PM (Fine Designs and concessions will have to be in the gym unless you want to wait until the party clears to set up in the lobby or slowly transfer – Kelly Reed- usual spot))

 

Sunday will be as usual or however you want to change thing around

 

You can have concessions where ever you think it would work best for you.
