Parents' Club 6/2/06 Meeting Minutes

Meeting was held from 6:30 - 7:45.

Attendees: Adrienne Broach, Carl Carlson, Rene & Brian Fitch, Cathy Kerner, Eugene McCall, Kelly McConie, Wendy & Leroy Purvis, and Michael York.

DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS:

I. Approval of Bylaws as Previously Submitted by Karen Sewell [Cathy Kerner]

The bylaws were reviewed and discussed by the attending Parents Club members.

A motion was made by Cathy Kerner to approve the bylaws as written; motion was seconded by Rene Fitch. A vote was taken of all members attending the meeting, and the bylaws were unanimously approved. In addition to the votes taken at the meeting, the following members had conveyed their affirmative votes prior to the meeting:

Patti Bales, Kathy Bull, Patty Dawson, Tanya Durant, Kelly Fine, Liz Fortin, Erlyn Fukushima, Tina McKenzie, Karen Sewell, Alice Troxell, & Karen Wells.

A total of 19 affirmative votes approving the bylaws were recorded; no negative votes were cast.

II. Levels 1 thru 3 Mini-Meet -- July 8

Leroy and Wendy Purvis volunteered to run the concession stand for the mini-meet.

III. Uniform Orders

Cathy Kerner reported that all leotards and sweat suits have been ordered. The order is expected to be received by the end of July.

OTHER ITEMS:

· Car Wash in the gym parking lot (Eugene McCall)

· Local photographer taking pictures at home meets (Brian Fitch)

· Passing out of flyers in neighborhoods to advertise home meets (Michael York)

· Put a "wish list" of items that are needed on the web site and who to contact

(Wendy Purvis)

PENDING ITEMS:

· Elections for officers to serve for the '06-'07 term (July thru June) will be held at the next meeting.

· Update our link on the Aerials web site

NEXT PARENTS' CLUB MEETING: Monday, June 19 @ 6:30.

NOTE: The next meeting will be very important. We need to elect officers and determine a regular monthly meeting date. If you want to have input on these two very important matters, please plan to attend our June 19 meeting.
