Parking Lot Sale

Tanya has approved this event. Will take place over 3 weekends: August 18/19, August 25/26 & September 15/16. Vendor will give us $200 per weekend, which we will split with Aerials Gymnastics. The last weekend we will hold a small concession stand and will except donations of sellable items, providing we have the manpower needed. Vendor requests 2 persons to handle any donations made by Aerials parents. Proceeds go towards the General Fund. Karen will see to it that information is distributed on the Web site and thru e-mails.  Cathy Kerner will make flyers.

See’s Candy

Erlyn Fukushima sent info with John about fundraiser. Cathy Kerner will go over material and speak with another mom who may have experience with See’s. Looking forward to an October sale, perhaps. It’s possible that See’s will donate candy once we are non-profit. This might also be the first fundraiser that will be eligible for the 80/20 split, since the General Fund is close to being in the black.  (80% into personal accounts and 20% into General Fund.)

Mary-Kay Fundraiser

Rene Fitch will talk to Suzanne about another possible date for this event since the first proposed date has passed. Flyers will be made.

Mini-Meet

Purvis’ will do concessions again for this September 9th event. Need a coordinator for the raffle, possibly the same person that handles it the next day for the Home Meet. Left over items will be kept at the gym for use at the Home Meet. At this time Karen Sewell mentioned that 7 ˝ gallons of Parent’s Club ice cream are no longer in the freezer. Discussed purchasing a locker just for Parent Club items.

Home Meet

Sunday, September 10th. Closing date for entries is August 15th. Approximately 150 girls so far, still waiting for response from several teams. A sign-up sheet for various positions and donations will be available after the final numbers are in. Karen Sewell suggests to have sign-up sheet available for a specific time, then make individual calls to fill in needed spots. Also, we need to bring exactly what we sign up for. Cathy Kerner is the Meet Coordinator. Karen Sewell is the Concession Rep, needed is a Hospitality Rep and a Decorations Rep.  Karen and Cathy will make sure this gets publicized via website, e-mail and flyers. Karen will check on Tri-tip prices for the BBQ from the commissary. Might put tri-tip on the sign-up sheet.
