SPECIAL CALL MEETING

Parents in attendance: Kerner, McCall, Rene and Brian Fitch, White, Baker, Murphy, McConie, Bull, Carlson, Sue and Micheal York, Pero

-Meeting Called to Order at 1850 hours on March 26, 2007

-The purpose of this Special Call Meeting was to have the membership take action on the allocation of monies for Coaches expenses to the upcoming Regional Meets for both the boy’s team and girl’s team. One boy gymnast will be competing in the Regional Meet in Hawaii and one girl gymnast will be competing in the Regional Meet in San Jose. The following is a break down of the costs for the Coaches expenses for both the Boys and Girls Regional Meets:

Kailyn Byrd (Boys Team Coach)

Air and Hotel- $1000

Session Fee- $75

Per Diem (Food) - $350

*Kailyn is required to be in Hawaii on the 9^th of April for a mandatory meeting. The actual session is not until the last day of the meet

Tanya Durant (Girls Team Coach)

Mileage and Hotel- $200

Session Fee- $75

Motion Made by White / Seconded by Kerner

AGPA to cover the cost of travel/mileage, hotel and session fee for both the boys and girls regional meets. Total cost is $1075 for Coach Byrd and $275 for Coach Durant. Total money from the General Fund to be spent is $1350.

-It should be noted that AGPA members discussed the importance of keeping a prudent balance in the General Fund to run the day to day business of AGPA and for any unforeseen expenses of the association. Once the approved money for the above motion and the money that is set aside for the Annual Awards Banquet have been disbursed the General Fund will have around $1100.
