AGPA MINUTES

Approval of Minutes- Motion was made to approve March 12, 2007 AGPA Minutes.        

            -Motion Passed

 

 

                                    Fundraising and Upcoming Events

 

Aerials Summer Camp Raffle- Tickets are available for each gymnast to sell.  Please read the direction on the flyer.  If you have any questions contact Kathy Kerner or Rene Fitch for information.  The winning ticket will be picked at the Mini Meet on May 5.  If you choose not to sell any tickets please place the whole package that the gymnast receives into the new AGPA Lock Box (will be close to the bulletin board). Thank you to Aerials for the great donation to help our gymnasts raise some money.  This fundraiser will follow the 80/20 split as outlined in the bylaws.

 

Level 1-3 Mini Meet- May 5 is a mini meet for the level 1-3 team.  Otterstedt and DeSouza will handle the concessions for the meet.  Also this is the meet that the Aerials Summer Camp Raffle Ticket will be picked.

 

-Pizza Fundraising-  Every Tuesday beginning April 3 AGPA will be selling Pizza at Aerials.  Please contact DeSouza for info and the sign up sheet.  DeSouza will be sending out an email very soon to explain all the details.  This fundraiser will follow the 80/20 split as outlined in the bylaws.

 

Bingo Fundraiser- Aerials Cheer and Pace Solano Bingo have now made it possible for you to earn credits in your individual accounts.  Contact Cindy Baker at 689-0087 to sign up.  There are 5 shifts to choose from:

 

                       

Mon:   3:55-930pm

                        Wed:   9:25 am-1:00pm

                        Wed:   3:55-9:30pm

                        Fri:      3:55-9:30pm

                        Sun:     3:15-8:45pm

 

You must contact Cindy to sign up to get on the schedule.  You will earn $10 an hour of which 80% goes into your individual account and 20% goes into AGPA’s General Fund.

 

AGPA and Aerials Cheer-  Kerner and Fitch met with Aerials Cheer to discuss joint efforts to help both groups.  Hopefully in the future we will be doing some joint fundraising and social activities with Aerials Cheer.  An Ice Cream social with both groups is one idea that is being discussed along with a fundraiser on Aug 4, 2007 that will be connected with Aerials Gym’s FUN RUN.  Both groups are also looking at a raffle idea for Fiesta Days.

 

STARS Bowling- Michael York will be looking into the details for raffle fundraising at STARS.  He will report back.

 

Fiesta Days 2007- Fiesta Days is May 26 and 27.  Aerials Gymnasts will be in the Parade on May 26 and will have performances on the 26th and 27th.   More information as we get closer.

 

2007 End of the Season Awards Banquet- June 3, 2007 is the Awards Banquet for the 2006/2007 Aerials Team.  It will be held at Paradise Valley in Fairfield.  AGPA will pay for all Gymnasts and Coaches.  Adult Tickets will be $25, children 5-12 will be $14 and kids under 5 are free.  Invitations will be going out soon.  Next committee meeting will be April 23 at 6:30pm at Aerials.  Each gymnast will be receiving an award at the banquet. 

 

 

-Next meeting on May 14 will focus on reviewing our bylaws and fundraising for next year.
