See’s Candy Fundraiser:  The See’s Candy fundraiser has officially started.  Your child has received information in their folder for selling the candy as a fundraiser.  The split will be 80/20.  20% will go to the Parents Club fund.  Please turn your forms and money into the AGPA mailbox by November 19th.  Please have all checks made out to AGPA.  The fundraiser candy will be delivered early December.  For questions about the fundraiser, contact Rene Fitch  707-310-0682.

Storage:  Storage prices are still being looked into.  More information about how we will store the AGPA club items will be discussed at the December meeting.

Level 5 State Championships:  The Level 5 Championships are being held in Visalia.  Two Coaches have been coaching level 5 Jaime and Jen P.  AGPA has voted for paying for both coaches to attend this event.  This does not set precedence for the next state meet, each meet will be discussed and voted upon separately.  The discussion is based on special circumstances for this meet.  AGPA will pay for per diem, hotel and mileage.  The estimate is $1005  -  $580 for hotel, $200 per diem, $225 for mileage.

Aerials Winter Invitational meet:  Aerials meet was originally scheduled for February 10th.  Mega was having problems with getting gym space for the weekend of January 27th and we will now be switching weekends with them so that we can attend their meet and not have to have our meets on the same weekend.  Mega’s meet will now be February 9th and 10th and our Aerials Invitational will be Sunday January 27th.  We will start getting donations for this meet on January 1st.  Many businesses can start donating due to the new year.

L.A. Meet:  AGPA has voted on paying for 2 coaches to attend the LA meet.  The AGPA will pay for Tanya Durant and Jen Pero to attend as the coaches.  To cover their per diem, hotel, car and gas - $1800 has been estimated for their weekend.  Kathy Bull has also made flyers “UCLA or not UCLA” to help people determine if they would like to attend this event.  Every team member has a flyer in their folder and one will be hung up on the board as well.  You need to decide by November 13th.   Please fill out the form in your child’s folder if you will be attending and place it in Megan Bull’s folder. You have to pay the meet fee by this day and then the first deposit for the plane by Nov. 20th.   Plane tickets are $146.80 per person, Hotel is $144.48 per double occupancy.  If you have any questions about attending this meet, please call Kathy Bull at 707-452-9783.

Christmas Party for the Team:  The party for the Boys team and Girls level 4-10 will be held on Thursday, December 13th.  Practice will be over at 6:30 that night.  AGPA has voted to pay for 30 pizzas and coaches gifts.  The amount to cover those items will be $320.  Melissa Black agreed to be the Party coordinator.  We are going to have pizza for dinner and a pot luck dessert.  Please have each gymnast bring a dessert to the party.  Instead of a Secret Santa this year, we will play a gift exchange game.  If your child would like to be part of the game, send a $10 boy/girl wrapped gift to the party.  A flyer will be going home about the Christmas party.

Popcorn Machine:  Melissa Black brought information about purchasing a popcorn machine to use at our upcoming meets.  AGPA agreed that this would definitely be an asset to have.  The York Family kindly volunteered to donate a popcorn machine to AGPA.
