AGPA MINUTES
March 3rd, 2008
Meeting started at 6:40pm
Parents in Attendance: Rene Fitch, Marcia Buslett,
Melissa Black, Jennifer Pero, Chess DeSouza,
Kathy Bull, and Heather Markovich.
Approval of Minutes for February: Motion was
made to approve minutes for March. Rene
Fitch made the first motion, Kathy Bull made the
second motion.
Treasurer’s Report: Suzanne
Murphy was not in attendance and at this time we do not have an up to date
total.
Regional Meet:
Congratulations Elise! Elise Kerner will be competing at the regional meet in
A
motion was made after evaluation of the bank account and budget that Aerials
Parents Club will continue with past practices and will pay for the optional
coach to attend the Regional meet and will cover up to $800, since it is over
80 miles away and plane tickets will need to be purchased.
Kathy
Bull made the first
motion, Melissa Black made the second motion. A vote was made and the parents in attendance
all agreed to vote in favor to pay for the coaches fees for the regional meet
in
Corporate Sponsorship: The sponsor letters are almost complete. We are just confirming banner sizes of the
sponsors and then the letters will be complete.
Chess DeSouza is looking into that.
Nacho/Pizza Sales: Cheer will not be selling food this month so the
Parents Club has the opportunity to sell pizza or nachos on Thursdays. Renee Fitch will sell
pizza on April 17th, all other Thursdays are available in April and
in May. Please contact me to sell
pizza. A sign up list will be on the
parent’s club board.
Mini Meet
May 3rd: The amount of gymnasts attending is unknown,
but there is a large number of level 1-3 gymnasts on
the team. If there is a parent that

End of year
banquet: The dates that we are
looking into for the end of the year banquet are June 7th or 8th. Jen Pero will talk
to our Jelly Belly Contact, Melissa and Chess will continue with their
research.
It was discussed that trophies might not be given
this year and we are going to look into tank tops or t-shirts for the
girls. The final gift has not been
decided.
From the LA
Meet: A rebate of $40 was given to us from Budget rental car. The money will be deposited into the general
fund.
Kathy Bull filled out a survey regarding Universal
Studios and received coupons for $15 off of Universal Studios for up to 6
people. 19 coupons were sent and if you
are interested in a coupon, they are kept at the front desk.
Team
Packets for 08-09 year: There will be a meeting set up for new members and
any members that have questions. Annie
Baker will be announcing the date soon.

ITEMS:
Aerials
Parent Club Officer Nominations:
Nominations for the Aerials Parents Club officers will be held at the next
meeting. If you are interested in
becoming an officer, or would like to have input in the nominations – please
attend the May meeting.
Ballets will be placed in folders after the meeting,
the counting and announcing of officers will happen at the June meeting.
All new officers will start their term in on July 1st.
Fiesta
Days: Please don’t forget to fill out your forms for Fiesta Days. If you need an additional form, please go to
the front desk.
Gymnastic
Camps/Summer Camps: Aerials Team practices will be canceled for the week
that Aerials is going to Woodward.
There will be a gymnastics camp that week, it
is a great opportunity for the team members to work with additional
coaches. Sign up at the front desk if
you are interested.
