The Aerials Story, Philosophy and Vision

In January 2003, Aerials was founded by Tanya Durant, a mother of three and 1995 graduate of the US Air Force Academy.  She was a collegiate national qualifier in gymnastics on floor exercise and balance beam and an NCAA All-American Cheerleader.  Her positive and life building experiences in collegiate sports progressed into a desire to promote the benefits of sport, artistry and productive play to the youth in the local and surrounding communities.  Since 2003, her passion has grown into platform that stands on its own thanks to the many contributions made by individuals who share the same passion. Team Aerials, through it's many journeys, has grown into a first-class staff absolutely committed to providing quality experiences that repeatedly exceed expectations and presenting opportunities to young aspiring athletes and children embracing the FUN in being physically active to achieve unparalleled gains in personal growth, confidence and an overall strong sense of self in our ever changing, fast-paced world.

Aerials offers a wide range of developmentally appropriate programs for children ages 1 to 18 years old in the recreational and competitive arenas of Gymnastics, Dance and Cheer . Each and every program is designed to 'Make a Difference in the Life of the Child'.  Team Aerials has mastered the concept that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to positively influence young lives.  What sets Aerials apart from the rest is that every program is created from a the program's point-of-view and the leaders of each program incorporate a unique combination of real-world life associations, FUN and continuously improving curriculums — providing children an opportunity to explore a world of endless possibilities and to grow into a Champion for Life.

Aerials strives to serve as a positive presence in the community by fostering personal growth and character development through sport, artistry and productive play in a safe and accepting environment for children of all ages and ability levels. We are dedicated to bringing our philosophy in to the plain view of the community and offer a multitude of opportunities to children from all walks of life.
Each year, Aerials makes financial contributions to at least one nationally renowned non-profit organization and several local non-profit organizations to express our thankfulness for the wealth of health and to give to those in need. In years past, Aerials has made financial contributions to local non-profits supporting equal opportunity for state, regional and national qualifying athletes involved in competitive gymnastics and All-Star Cheer and our national level support has been extended The Children's Miracle Network, St Jude's Children's Hospital, The Susan G. Komen Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation, Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) and Kassi's Kause (National Mucopolysaccharide (MPS) Society).
Aerials is active in supporting community events and a member of the Vacaville, Dixon, and Fairfield-Suisun Chambers of Commerce.
